Universal Nutrition Storm is a new creatine and nitric oxide formula. Storm has 5 different types of creatines. Universal recommends that you take one serving of Storm before your workouts and one serving after. Each serving has 5 grams of creatine and almost 4 grams of a nitric oxide/insulin potentiator complex.

With the different types of creatine, you can actually get a time released effect. The idea would be a constant flow of creatine allowing for maximal absorption. This would be much better than everything trying to be absorbed all at once.

Because of both the creatine and the arginine, you will have to take

every day. It will probably take about a week or so to start seeing and feeling a difference with this product.

As far as nitric oxide goes, Storm contains the usual suspects when you think of nitric oxide supplements. You have your usual arginine AKG along with Citrulline Malate. You also get some Beta Alanine added to buffer lactic acid.

A note about Beta Alanine. Taking too much can give you that flushy feeling. It can actually get quite uncomfortable if you take too much. So keep that in mind when you start taking anything with Beta Alanine in it.

You also get ingredients like alpha lipoid acid to help increase the insulin response. Insulin is highly touted as a very anabolic hormone. Companies are now trying to implement strategies to help your body get the best use of the insulin that it produces.

One thing I would think about doing if I were going to supplement with Storm. That would be to take ½ serving before and after workouts instead of 1 full serving each time. That way you are still getting plenty of creatine (5 grams) instead of getting 10 grams and possibly some side effects. This strategy would also beneficial if you are on a budget and trying to stretch that product out long enough to see results.

Give Universal’s Storm a try if you’re looking for some new mass and strength gains.
