VPX Stealth
Along with several of their zero carb products, VPX Sports has launched Stealth to the fitness community. Stealth is a “lean mass gainer”. you see that nowadays instead of “weight gainer”. Lean mass gainer sounds better than weight gainer anyway. I don’t know why it took so long for that to happen.
Anyway, Stealth is following the approaches of the new lean mass gainers on the market cutting down on sugar content, adding fiber, and adding some beneficial fats to the blend. This should make for a pretty good tasting product. The protein content will be similar as well.
VPX boasts that Stealth contains 12 ingredients that are in their pre-workout product, NO-Shotgun. They talk about muscle gene proteins and the genetic code….they say that Stealth can induced splitting of muscle fibers, also known as hyperplasia….sounds exciting doesn’t it. I find that hard to believe though.
As far as protein content goes, Stealth contains about seven different types of protein, giving you all the aminos you need. It includes both whey protein and casein protein. The combination of the different proteins provides a timed released effect, feeding your muscles for hours.
Stealth also contains creatine…3 types of creatine for cell volumization. This will help with leverage and strength. Plus you have unsaturated fats which have become more and more important for everyone, not just for athletes.
With products like VPX Stealth, the calorie count doesn’t have to be extremely high. Gone are the days when the gainer with the most calories is the best one. Now you have lower calorie, low sugar products that are much more beneficial for your body….they are much healthier choices than they used to be.
Anyone that is really active, not just athletes can benefit from a lean mass gainer. If you are having a hard time recovering from training or any other activities, or if you are having trouble increasing muscle mass, calories are needed. The most convenient way to get these calories are with products like this. VPX nutrition has done a pretty good job with their protein and calorie formulations. I don’t know what Stealth tastes like yet, but if it has everything it says it has, then it’s a worthwhile product.
