I would say the number one question I get about supplements is this:

“What is the best bodybuilding supplement?”

With thousands of bodybuilding supplements one would think that would be a difficult question to answer. Believe it or not, I have the answer. Some may love this answer, some may hate it because it is not a “fancy” answer.

You could say protein or creatine is the best supplement. Other people may say that pre workout products or post workout products might be the best things going.

Truth is that every supplement you can think of will not be as effective unless they are combined with the “supplement” I am about to mention.

This stuff makes every other supplement you take better. It is vital whether you are trying to gain mass or lose body fat. So what is this “magic” supplement?

FOOD

Yeah I know it is not a supplement, but it is vital if you want to get results. If you don’t eat the right kind of food you may as well forget about it. They type and quantities of food will decide your physique’s fate. You can do all the cardio in the world and you can take all the best fat burners in the world, but if your nutrition is lacking, you won’t get the results you are looking for.

The same goes for building muscle. If you don’t eat enough, guess what? You won’t gain any mass. You can take all the best bodybuilding supplements in the world and if you don’t eat good, clean foods in higher quantities, you won’t gain an ounce.

The type of food you take in will ultimately define your physique. Keep that in mind when you are about to enter a mass phase or diet phase.

Supplements aren’t magical. People think they are too important. YOU DON’T NEED SUPPLEMENTS. Supplements are helpful, you just don’t want to depend on them too much. What you NEED is food.
