USP Labs Pink Magic

USPlabs Pink Magic has quickly become a very popular supplement among those looking to increase muscle mass. USP Labs makes several claims about the effectiveness of this particular supplement. So is Pink Magic really worth its price or is it just clever marketing.
What are the ingredients in Pink Magic?
- Massularia Acuminate
- Nelumbo nucifera
- Rhamnus nakaharai
How does Pink Magic work?
Pink Magic is supposed to work in a few different ways. One way that it is supposed to work is through making cAMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) more effective. cAMP does several things, including fat loss. Compounds in Pink Magic block the action of certain enzymes that prevent cAMP from being more effective. So using this product can allow cAMP to do what it is supposed to do.
Also, studies show Pink Magic could possibly be a vasodilator. This would help muscles take in nutrients from blood for tissue repair. This may also work synergistically with other nitric oxide products to make them more effective.
Third, the inhibition of some of the enzymes metioned earlier may help stop the loss of muscle tissue and help gain lean muscle tissue.
Lastly, an ingredient in Pink Magic has been shown in some animal studies to increase testosterone.
Pink Magic as a testosterone booster
Usually when you speak of a testosterone booster the first question asked is what kind of side effects will I have? USPlabs says that Pink Magic doesn’t replace your bodies’ production of testosterone so you shouldn’t notice anything negative.
Also, because Pink Magic is not replacing you bodies’ testosterone production an estrogen blocker is not needed. The hormones in the body won’t be out of balance, so bodybuilders won’t have to worry about cycling or PCT after taking this product.
It is suggested that because of the chance of this product increasing testosterone levels that women do not take Pink Magic.
Massularia Acuminata and testosterone
This is a description of Massularia directly from USPlabs:
“Massularia acuminata is a plant that has long been used in parts of Africa as an aphrodisiac…
Recent evidence suggests that these aphrodisiac properties noted anecdotally in humans, are due to the plant’s ability to increase endogenous testosterone levels. In a study in animal models, an aqueous extract of the plant was shown to increase serum luteinizing hormone and testicular testosterone levels by approximately 66% and 60%, respectively, relative to controls, after 3 weeks of administration in the highest dose group. The increase in testosterone was found to be a dose-dependent effect, increasing significantly with each dose escalation. In addition, other androgenic markers also indicated that the plant was effective in this regard, including a significant increase in testes-bodyweight ratio. The authors of the study concluded that the use of the plant as an aphrodisiac is likely tied to its androgenic potential (i.e., ability to increase testosterone levels), based upon these data gathered in an animal model.”
How do you take Pink Magic?
Because the human body is a very smart machine it will adapt pretty quickly. Bodybuilders notice this with all kinds of supplements, especially pre workout supplements like Jack3d. Pink Magic will be no different. Your body will adapt to it so it is wise to cycle it.
You can take Pink Magic with other products as long as the other products are attempting to do the same thing. Jack3d and Anabolic Pump, for example, would be good supplements to use for maximum effectiveness.
Are Pink Magic’s ingredients worthwhile?
If you read Bodybuilding forums Pink Magic has come under quite a bit of criticism over the dosage in the product. People have read the animal studies regarding Massularia acuminata and its effects and have noted that, according to this study, bodybuilders would have to take in anywhere from 8 to 16 grams of the compound per day to correspond to the doses in the animal study. This obviously is a much higher dose than is in Pink Magic.
USPlabs rebuttal to the claims that the doses in Pink Magic were not enough is that the animal studies used whole extracts of the Massularia plant. They found the main components in Massularia and formulated new processes to extract those components. This not only supposedly makes the product more effective and more efficient but also is the reason it is more expensive. These processes makes the dosing in the product more sensible for bodybuilders so that hopefully positive results can be realized.
To summarize, the ingredients in Pink Magic could possibly:
Decrease bodyfat
Make nitric oxide products more effective
Enhance endurance
Increase strength
Increase testosterone
Animal studies have shown that Pink Magic is effective. Whether or not it has the same effect on humans is up for debate. The only way to know if it is an effective product or not is to try it out for yourself.

I just finished a bottle and didn’t get anything from it. It only lasted a little over 3 weeks. That is probably not long enough to get a result, but I don’t want to spend another $60 for another 3 weeks. That’s too expensive for me.
I have had friends who didn’t get much results, but I had great success. The key to good results with Pink Magic, in my opinion, is being very strict with your work out plan and your diet. If you are serious about working out hard and gaining muscle and becoming lean and ripped then this is a great supplement to add to your strict regiment. If your just going into the gym a couple times a week for 30min and not eating right then this won’t do anything for you. For the committed athlete only!
I took a bottle and didn’t notice much. After doing some reading I think I may have had my calories too low. If I try it again, I think I’ll bump up the cals and see what happens
It’s pretty dang expensive to take though!
waste of money
