Ability to validate end-to-end business workflows and functional requirements. Experience analyzing functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ability to map requirements to test coverage and identify missing requirements. Strong execution skills for: Smoke testing, Functional testing, Regression testing , UAT support, Negative testing, Exploratory testing Proficient in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects with clear reproduction steps. Hands‑on experience with defect tracking tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, qTest , or equivalent. Ability to understand business requirements, BRDs, FSDs, and user stories. Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to clarify requirements. Preferred Skills: Experience with SQL for backend data validation. Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools (basic validation). Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, QTP/UFT) – even basic exposure.
